What We’re Looking For
Creative Currency is looking for an Associate Creative Director, Copy to help lead the thinking, writing, and creative direction behind work that earns relevance and trust in today’s world.
This is a senior creative role for someone who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution, and who’s ready to take ownership of ideas from early insight through final delivery. You’ll help shape campaign platforms, narratives, and messaging systems that don’t just sound good, but work hard in complex, high-stakes environments.
As an ACD, you’ll partner closely with Creative Directors, designers, strategists, and account leads to develop work that is culturally aware, strategically grounded, and creatively ambitious. You’ll still be hands-on with writing and concepting, but you’ll also play a key role in guiding the work, raising the bar, and supporting the growth of writers and creatives around you.
This role sits within a collaborative creative team that moves quickly, thinks broadly, and expects ideas to earn their place. You’ll contribute across Creative Currency and our sister agency, Enterprise, supporting national and regional clients in public affairs, healthcare, culture, and beyond.
What You Do Well
- Lead creative thinking and copy development across campaigns and platforms.
- Translate strategy, research, and insight into strong, cohesive creative ideas.
- Shape campaign platforms, narratives, and messaging frameworks that travel across channels.
- Write and oversee high-quality copy across formats, from headlines and scripts to long-form content.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback and mentorship to writers and junior creatives.
- Challenge ideas thoughtfully and push work to be sharper, clearer, and more effective.
- Present creative work confidently to internal teams and clients.
- Take ownership of the work that goes out the door, balancing creative ambition with real-world constraints.
Your Skills
- Advanced writing and conceptual skills across advertising, brand, and content.
- Strong understanding of creative strategy, brand voice, and campaign development.
- Experience leading or mentoring writers in an agency or in-house environment.
- Comfort working across digital, social, and traditional platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high creative standard.
- 7+ years of experience in a creative agency or equivalent environment.
